Every safari company qualifies their itinerary by putting, "or similar" in
small print. There is a good reason for this: things change. This is especially
true when you are planning two years in advance. For now, this is our
working itinerary. It will change if need be. As places are booked, I will note
that, also.

Depart United States.
Tentatively we will meet in Chicago and fly through Brussels.

2
|
|
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta
Airport met by an Africa Point Tour
representative and transfer to Panafric
Hotel. Accomodation based on bed and breakfast. |
|
3
|
|
After breakfast depart for Mount Kenya to
arrive in time
for lunch. Dinner and overnight at
Mountain Lodge – Serena. Hopefully we can arrange Mass with the
students from Saint Mary’s in Nyeri. |

|
Depart for Samburu National Park. Arrive
in time for lunch in Samburu Intrepids. Afternoon game drive, dinner and
overnight at Samburu Intrepids. |

|
Depart for Marsabit. Overnight at
Pastoral Center. Visit to Manyatta. Dinner at Saint Paul’s with
entertainment by the students. *The trip to Marsabit is rigorous, but
affords a visit to a part of the country which most Kenyans have not
seen. For those of you who do not want to make the journey, an extra day
at Samburu will be arranged. |

After breakfast depart for Sweetwaters
Tented Camp with a stop
in Nanyuki town. |

Depart for Nakuru to arrive in time for
lunch in Nakuru at Mwangaza. Visit Mwangaza and Rongai Agricultural and
Technical School (Dinner and Entertainment by the students). Stay
outside of Park at Banion or Kunste or Nakuru Guest House. (Laundry Day)

Head for Masai Mara.
Arrive in time for lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge. Evening game drive and
overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge. |
